Trailer with Generators and Charging Cords model TGCC-195
The trailer is a multi-faceted component of the LVLA-PALS that, in addition to transport, is utilized for stowage, charging, deployment, and recovery of the 5,000-ft portable airfield lighting system. The trailer is based on a standard U.S. Army specification high mobility flat deck trailer that uses standard inventory HMMWV parts. All of the lighting equipment, power generators, charging cords, radio control equipment, and ancillary equipment such as stakes and tie-down straps are contained on this trailer. Each lighting component is recharged in place on the trailer from the generators, 115 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, or from 28 VDC tactical vehicle power. Total weight of the LVLA-PALS trailer with all equipment onboard is 4100 lbs (1860 kg).
The Laser Glideslope Indicator is stored in a compartment in the rear of the trailer, on the top, middle shelf. The Laser Centerline Localizer is stored in a compartment in the rear of the trailer in the middle, on a shelf that is directlyCenterline Localizer and FLIR-

Laser Glideslope Indicator are stored in a compartment in the rear of the trailer on the top shelf to the sides of the LGI. The Power Boxes for the LCL and the LGI are located in compartments in the rear of the trailer, below the LCL.
The Power Boxes for the FLCL and FLGI are located in compartments in front of the trailer wheels. Forty-eight Runway Edge Lights, and twelve Runway Threshold Lights are located in compartments accessible from the sides of the trailer. Two 2kW military tactical generators are located on the trailer between the reels and the compartments for the runway edge lights. Two reels with charging cables are located towards the front of the trailer. Each reel stores the charging cable for one side of the 5,000-ft runway.
